A driven self-starter, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager, to lead construction projects from initiation to completion.

This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with client requirements, and to provide effective leadership to meet internal standards for quality, efficiency, and operational excellence; on time, and on budget.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Diploma, certificate, or degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering Technology, and/or equivalent Field experience and trade skills/knowledge (preferred).
• A minimum of four (4) years experience in powerline construction, utilities or related infrastructure, project management, or a combination of these (preferred).
• Three (3) or more years of related experience in a project coordinator capacity (an asset).
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, or actively working towards this designation (an asset).
• A keen understanding and working knowledge of contracts, project management principles, safety, quality, and construction operations (required).
• Microsoft Office (Visio, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat proficiency, as well as project management software (Pro Core, MS Project, etc) (required).
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver abstract (required).
• Familiarity with ISO  (required).
• Proven experience in supporting multiple projects and activities in a fast-paced, changing environment (required).
• Effective communication, both verbally and written, as well as proven negotiation, diplomacy, and conflict resolution skills (required).
• Attention to detail in interpreting proposals, technical drawings, and contract wording (required).
• Time management proficiency, as well as organization to meet time-sensitive deadlines and competing priorities (required).
• Experience in leading and managing client/vendor relationships (required).
