Position: VP, Growth, People & Culture
The VP, Growth, People & Culture is a key member of the leadership team and a trusted advisor to the President & CEO and Board of Directors. This role leads the organization’s efforts in business development, broker relations, brand presence, and organizational health, ensuring My Mutual remains a trusted, people-centered mutual built on purpose, collaboration, and growth.

The Vice President champions both external and internal experience, fostering strong relationships with brokers and policyholders while advancing culture, talent, and communications within the organization. This dual focus connects My Mutual’s growth strategy with its people strategy, ensuring performance and belonging go hand in hand.

As part of the leadership team, the Vice President partners across all functions to strengthen distribution, elevate brand visibility, and nurture a thriving, values-based workplace culture grounded in People First:

The Role

Lead broker and distribution relations, sales strategy, and brand development to support sustainable growth and market presence.

Oversee broker and policyholder experience and retention initiatives, ensuring consistency, responsiveness, and satisfaction.

Lead the development and execution of talent and culture strategies that foster engagement, belonging, and professional growth.

Advance marketing and communication initiatives that align with My Mutual’s brand, culture, and business objectives.

Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic initiatives related to organizational development, leadership growth, and workforce planning.

Collaborate closely with Operations and Technology on strategic initiatives related to organizational development, leadership growth, and workforce planning.

Guide performance and development programs that align with My Mutual’s values and long‑term success.

Lead through key functional leads and subject matter experts across growth, marketing, and people functions.

Champion culture, innovation, and purpose by modeling empathy, collaboration, and accountability in all interactions.

Build trusted relationships with brokers, industry partners, and community stakeholders.

Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned to support organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or any related field.

A Master’s degree or professional designation is considered an asset.

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in business development, people and culture, or marketing within the insurance or financial sector.

Proven experience leading growth, relationship management, and organizational culture initiatives that align with strategic goals.

Demonstrated success collaborating across business functions to drive organizational goals.

Equivalent combinations of education, professional training, and practical experience demonstrating advanced leadership and strategic capability will be considered.
