Software Asset Management Analyst

Location:

Remote (GTA preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of experience in ITSM asset management, additional years of experience will be acceptable in lieu of a degree
• Service Now Expertise:
  Proven experience utilizing Service Now ITSM and SAM Professional modules for asset tracking and license reconciliation.
• SAM Lifecycle:
  Advanced knowledge of the software asset lifecycle: planning, acquisition, deployment, monitoring, harvesting, and retirement.
• Licensing Models:
  Understanding of major software publishers’ licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce) and their configuration within Service Now.
• Standards:
  Knowledge of international SAM standards (e.g., ISO 19770-1) and ITIL frameworks.
• Tools:
  Experience with discovery sources that feed into Service Now (e.g., Service Now Discovery, MS SCCM, JAMF or Tanium).
• Service Now
  
  Certifications:
  
  Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM) or Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Professional
  
  Certifications:
  
  IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or CHAMP.
