We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst, Oracle HCM to join our Oracle Center of Excellence team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business needs and Oracle Cloud HCM solutions. You will work closely with leadership, HR teams, and IT partners to design, configure, and implement HCM functionalities that improve efficiency, optimize processes, and support our organization’s growth.
You will gather and translate business requirements, configure HCM modules, support testing and deployment phases, and provide training as needed. You will also act as a trusted advisor by guiding project teams, facilitating workshops, and contributing to the definition of the HR technology strategy.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with business and IT teams to define, prioritize, and deliver Oracle HCM Cloud requirements.
- Lead workshops, meetings, and discovery sessions to gather and document needs.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and Oracle HCM configurations.
- Configure HCM modules (Core HR, Talent, Benefits, Learning, Recruiting), including roles, access, and security management.
- Support all implementation phases: design, testing (SIT, UAT), conversion, transition, and go-live.
- Work closely with project managers and the PMO to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Produce and maintain project documentation (business cases, process flows, test scripts, training materials).
- Train and support HR and IT teams on Oracle HCM functionalities.
- Identify optimization and process-simplification opportunities.
- Consider integrations with internal applications (Oracle Bridge, Master Data Management, Oracle Access Management, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience in functional analysis with Oracle HCM.
- Strong experience analyzing and documenting business requirements.
- Hands‑on expertise configuring Oracle HCM modules, including role, privilege, and security management.
- Experience writing user stories and developing test cases (unit, SIT, UAT).
- Experience supporting ERP implementations from initiation through go‑live.
- Excellent problem‑solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Experience writing documentation (business cases, requirements, test cases).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Strong analytical thinking, rigor, process‑ and results‑oriented mindset.
