As our Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a senior technical role in supporting and optimizing Sandbox’s cloud and network infrastructure. You’ll be the go-to Tier II escalation point for Microsoft Azure, AWS, identity systems, and critical network technologies, ensuring our environments are secure, scalable, and highly available. You’ll bring hands-on cloud expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to security, compliance, and best practices, all while being a positive force in our culture.####

** DIVE IN AND MAKE A SPLASH EVERY DAY BY:
*** Deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and AWS
* Optimizing cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost efficiency
* Managing identity and access using Microsoft Entra AWS IAM, including MFA, RBAC, and Conditional Access
* Supporting and maintaining SD-WAN and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions
* Acting as the Tier II escalation point for cloud, identity, and network incidents
* Participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical outages
* Ensuring cloud and network environments meet security and compliance standards
* Automating cloud operations using Power Shell, Azure CLI, AWS CLI, Python, and IaC tools
* Building and maintaining infrastructure using ARM templates, Terraform, or Cloud Formation
* Collaborating with Dev Ops, security, networking, and application teams
* Documenting architectures, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
* Following change management processes with care and precision
* Being a role model who supports a positive, inclusive Sandbox culture####
** WHAT YOU BRING TO SANDBOX:
**
* Education & Experience:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience, plus 3–5 years in cloud engineering or infrastructure support (with strong Azure and AWS focus)
* Cloud Expertise:
Hands-on experience managing compute, storage, networking, and database services in Azure and AWS
* Identity & Security Know-How:
Experience with Entra , AWS IAM, Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and Zero Trust principles
* Networking
Skills:
Solid understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, routing, SD-WAN, and ZTNA
* Endpoint Management:
Proven experience supporting Microsoft Intune
* Automation Mindset:
Strong scripting skills (Power Shell, Bash, Python) and experience with Infrastructure-as-Code
* Certifications (Highly Valued):
Azure (AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-300), AWS Solutions Architect, Cisco, Fortinet, Network+, or similar
* Agile
Experience:
Familiarity with Agile environments (certification is an asset or completed within 12 months)
* People
Skills:
Clear communicator, strong collaborator, and able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
* Flexibility:
Comfortable with on-call rotations and hybrid work (3 days on-site in Saskatoon)
* Mindset:
Curious, detail-oriented, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement####
