Our People Consulting professionals assist our clients in successfully managing and sustaining people, process and/or technology change. Our services include HR technology assessments, process design & transformation, vendor assessment & selection, target operating models’ definition, HCM implementation, and post‑implementation optimization.
We are looking for a Dayforce Senior Consultant to join our rapidly growing Digital Workforce Transformation practice across Canada (Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, Vancouver, Calgary). This job posting does not relate to an existing vacancy within our organization; however we welcome applications on a continuing basis.
Responsibilities- Oversee a team of talented consultants to successfully deliver Dayforce HCM solutions to our clients.
- Support Dayforce HCM system configurations according to our clients' specifications.
- Manage Dayforce HCM engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Act as a liaison between our clients and Dayforce, managing communications and escalations as necessary.
- Develop and provide training to our clients' end‑users to ensure they are proficient in using Dayforce HCM features and offer ongoing support to resolve any post‑implementation challenges.
- Oversee the creation of clear and concise documentation. Documentation of final client deliverables should be tailored to the audience, highlight critical findings or decisions, and cover project‐level requirements, design, strategy, and plan execution approach to executive‐level presentation materials.
- Develop people by providing constructive on‑the‑job feedback/training and fostering an innovative and team‑oriented work environment.
- Deliver quality services by setting goals and implementation plans to achieve high‑quality deliverables within expected time frames, monitoring progress, managing risk, and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management, focusing on deliverables and client business priorities, managing expectations, and understanding the client’s industry and key performance drivers.
- Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge, staying current with advisory service developments and industry trends.
- Identify new business opportunities, understand EY and its service lines, actively assess and present ways to serve clients, and develop long‑term client relationships and networks across EY practices.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice; travel is estimated at 30%.
- A related bachelor’s degree.
- Approximately 5‑7 years in HCM system implementations with Dayforce experience preferred.
- Dayforce certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in participating and/or leading client discussions—including requirements gathering, user stories/test scenario creation, solution configuration, lead/support testing, and deployment.
- Experience with HCM system configuration.
- Demonstrated record of driving revenue within existing clients and developing new prospects at the “C” level of Fortune 500 companies.
- Willingness to travel on short notice; travel is estimated at 30%.
