Firewall Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Palo Alto Engineer for a contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally, experience with Palo Alto technology and firewall configuration, migration of Palo Alto physical firewall configuration, routing configuration, and other policy to a virtual Palo Alto firewall for a migration project. Migration of an On-Prem datacenter to Microsoft AVS Cloud, and migration of site-to-site VPN links from one DC to AVS cloud.

Preference will be given to candidates with the required skills and experience, particularly in large organizations.

• Migration of On-Prem datacenter to Microsoft AVS Cloud.
• Coordination with client’s Technical team.
• Migration of Palo Alto physical firewall configuration, routing configuration and other policy to virtual Palo Alto firewall.
• Experience of migration of site-to-site VPN links from one DC to AVS cloud.
• NSX-T configuration skills including BGP routing in Azure.
• Overall VMware and Azure AVS migration skills are a plus.
• IP design planning and deployment are must.
• IP whitelist, redesign of public IP, load balancer experience, SSL certificate migration are must.
• Experience of Azure AVS technology.
