Human Resource Generalist

A well-established Western Canadian organization is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join its HR team in Saskatoon.
This is a hands-on HR role supporting a large operational workforce across multiple provinces. You will partner closely with operations leadership to manage employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and HR initiatives that support a safe, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working directly with operations leaders, solving complex people issues, and driving practical HR solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees

Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning

Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, discipline, and performance management

Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies

Support both union and non-union environments

Contribute to HR initiatives, training programs, and culture development

Participate in health & safety and HR-related projects

What We're Looking For

2+ years of progressive HR experience

Experience supporting employee relations in operational environments

Exposure to unionized workforces or labour relations is an asset

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

HR degree or diploma required; CPHR designation (or working toward) considered an asset

Compensation

$75,000 - $90,000 base salary
