About Us

Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future. Utilities around the world rely on our nuclear fuel products to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco’s corporate office is based in Saskatoon. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.

The Role

We are looking for a collaborative team player who is effective at building relationships with various stakeholders to join our talent acquisition team. You will work collaboratively with the business on various recruitment files, supporting our northern operations as well as the corporate office.

This is a one-year temporary position.

In this role, you will:

  • contribute to strategic talent acquisition sourcing for our Northern Saskatchewan operations as well as our Saskatoon office
  • follow established processes and procedures to ensure timely recruitment of positions
  • coach leaders on processes and strategies that eliminate bias while also meeting business priorities
  • promote Cameco’s values while fostering a culture that is inclusive, innovative, and safe through all talent acquisition activities
  • work effectively and collaboratively with departments and candidates to ensure the best for the organization
  • Required:

  • bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
  • up to three years of human resources experience, preferably in recruitment
  • exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • proven ability to cultivate and building strong relationships with various stakeholders
  • ability to navigate ambiguity, problem solve and achieve desired outcomes
  • strong aptitude for technology and process improvement
  • Recommended:

  • Experience with Success Factors or other applicant tracking systems

    Salary Range: $72,070 - $90,090 per annum
