Description
Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our employees across Saskatchewan. This position is based in Saskatoon and requires regular, in-person presence to effectively support leaders and employees within the Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) Division. If you’re an HR leader who loves variety, impact, and meaningful connection, this role will keep you energized.
You’ll be a trusted advisor to both leaders and employees—shaping people strategies, guiding decision‑making, and delivering hands‑on HR support across the full employee lifecycle. It’s the perfect role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys balancing strategic work with day‑to‑day HR operations, and is passionate about building strong, engaged, high‑performing teams.
The Role
The role reports directly to the Director, Human Resources, and works in close partnership with the VLT Division Vice President and divisional leadership team. While the role reports into the HR function, success in this position depends on the ability to closely align HR priorities to divisional business objectives and support timely execution, in collaboration with divisional leadership and within corporate HR frameworks, policies, and practices.
This role is well‑suited to an HR professional who is comfortable working in a matrixed environment, values strong relationships, and brings sound judgment when balancing business needs with people practices.

Who we are
You may not have heard of us before, but you’ve almost certainly heard of the products we help bring to players throughout the Prairie Provinces and the North every day; lottery games like LOTTO 6/49, SPORT SELECT, and dozens of instant scratch tickets.
WCLC is the non-profit organization authorized to manage, conduct, and operate lotteries – at retail and online – and other gaming-related activities for the governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba as well as the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. We work closely with our provincial partners to bring a first-rate lottery experience to our players and meet their changing needs with new technology and tools.
Within WCLC, the Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) Division is responsible for delivering and supporting Saskatchewan’s VLT gaming environment. The division operates the provincial VLT program on behalf of Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS), ensuring VLT products and services are reliable, secure, and responsibly operated. Our work supports players, retailers, and government partners across the province, with a strong focus on execution, accountability, and protecting the integrity of the VLT ecosystem.
We know it’s our people that make this possible, which is why we invest in building talented, adaptable, and accountable teams. We’d love to talk to you about how you fit into that.
