Grounded in our commitment to deliver On Time, Credible, and Professional, we are expanding our Saskatchewan team and seeking an experienced Commercial Appraiser to join our team.
This is an opportunity for a designated commercial appraiser who values technical excellence, professional autonomy, and a collaborative environment where your expertise is recognized and supported.
The OpportunityYou will play a key role in delivering high value appraisal and consulting services while helping shape the continued growth of our valuation practice.
You will:
- Complete complex commercial real estate appraisals and consulting services across a wide range of property types.
- Lead valuation assignments for retail, office, multifamily, agriculture, special purpose assets and more.
- Prepare defensible, high-quality reports that meet AIC standards and exceed client expectations.
- Conduct detailed market, financial, and economic analyses.
- Mentor and collaborate with candidate appraisers and junior team members.
- Engage directly with clients, building strong professional relationships and delivering responsive, solution-focused service.
- Manage projects with autonomy while leveraging the support of a national, multidisciplinary valuation team.
This position offers a balance of office and field work with moderate travel (up to 20% travel), primarily within Saskatchewan and occasionally across Western Canada. Candidates must reside in Saskatchewan.
Who You AreYou are a seasoned valuation professional who brings:
- Experience in commercial real estate appraisal, ideally across multiple asset classes.
- Strong analytical and report‑writing skills grounded in sound valuation methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Willingness to mentor junior appraisers.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Experience with complex appraisal assignments or specialized asset categories.
- Familiarity with depreciation studies, insurance appraisals, or risk‑based reporting (an asset but not required).
- Comfort with valuation technologies, modelling tools, and industry standard software.
- A stable, reputable North American firm with over four decades of industry leadership.
