We’re partnering with our client to find a Tax Specialist to join their growing in-house finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and solutions-driven professional to take on a broad corporate tax role with exposure to strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

• Contribute to the preparation and analysis of corporate tax filings and financial disclosures
• Manage recurring tax submissions, including returns, instalment payments, and compliance documentation
• Maintain and organize internal records to support audit and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal finance teams and coordinate with external tax consultants as needed
• Support the development and rollout of tax-related initiatives and process improvements
• Monitor evolving tax laws and share insights with relevant stakeholders
• Help ensure the organization remains compliant with all applicable tax regulations at the local, provincial, and federal levels

• CPA designation and a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in corporate tax within a public accounting firm or industry environment
• Exposure to complex tax compliance work and financial statement support
• Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tax software platforms (e.g., Tax Prep, CCH or similar)
• Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• A collaborative mindset with a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement
