The Department of Indigenous Studies, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the 2026 spring and summer sessions:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 1:00pm to 3:50pm
Expected Enrollment Limit: 40
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: PhD or MA in Indigenous Studies or equivalent with demonstrated science teaching experience. Previous experience teaching Indigenous Studies preferred.

Expected Enrollment Limit: 40
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: PhD or MA in Indigenous Studies or equivalent with a demonstrated background in Indigenous knowledge in the local, national, and international context. Demonstrated experience [experiential knowledge] in one or more Indigenous Knowledge areas (food sovereignty, language & linguistic analyses, star knowledge, human-nonhuman animal relations, water protection, etc.). Previous experience teaching Indigenous Studies preferred.

A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
