What you’ll do:
Process bi-weekly payroll for local Co-op clients, ensuring accurate remittances and adherence to deadlines.Provide timely customer support to address client inquiries related to pay.Assist with year-end duties, including preparing T4s, vacation payouts, and related reports.Review payroll correspondence and update employee files, including special payments like bonuses and severance.Manage Workers Compensation reports, third-party error notifications, and maintain security of payroll records.Other duties as required.Who you’ll work with

You will work closely with the Payroll Services team and will report into the Supervisor, Payroll Services. This team strives to cultivate a culture of support, collaboration, and community.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Payroll and:
Have 4 progressive financial accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution and 1 year of related accounting or payroll experience. ORHave 8 progressive financial accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution and 2.5 years of related accounting or payroll experience.Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.What we offer:
