Manager, Forensic Accounting

Our client is looking for a Manager with strong analytical and auditing skills to join their passionate and dedicated team. They offer a healthy work­‑life balance, competitive compensation, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Manage forensic accounting engagements and ensure high-quality work (insurance claim quantification, fraud investigations, litigation-related damage assessments)
  • Lead the planning and execution of investigative and dispute-related projects, analyze financial data, and prepare recommendations
  • Review and finalize forensic accounting reports
  • Communicate with clients, lawyers, insurers, and internal teams to discuss file issues and present findings
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and oversee key operational aspects of engagements
  • Attend client sites when required
  • Prepare schedules, analyses, and reports for forensic accounting files
  • Apply technical expertise, laws, regulations, and standards to formulate recommendations
  • Participate in technical work and business development initiatives

    Use sound judgment to make decisions on both routine and complex matters
  • Perform other related duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in forensic accounting, including experience with commercial insurance loss quantification
  • CPA designation required; additional certifications (CIP, CBV, CFE, CFF) are considered assets
  • Strong analytical, accounting, and auditing skills
  • Solid knowledge of insurance loss quantification and claims consulting processes
  • Advanced understanding of professional standards, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Detail-oriented, well‑organized, self‑driven, and motivated to lead
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
