What you’ll do:
Prepare and reconcile patronage and equity runs, including auditing processed data, resolving errors, and providing ongoing support to retail locations as required.
Balance, prepare, and distribute equity statements, cheques, and T4A charge-outs, responding to Local Co-op T4A inquiries and ensuring compliance with CRA withholding and filing deadlines.
Monitor and maintain patronage and equity systems, including Retail Member Master (RMM), CMF maintenance, annual purges, and supporting files and reports.
Manage financial transactions and system support, including equity cheque clearing, Local Co-op vendor EFT payments, member accounts receivable, and coordination with programmers to support retail systems.
Other duties as required.

The Team: You will work closely with other Accounting Technicians, Analysts and Accountants and report into the Business Accounting Support Supervisor. You will act as a team player, ensuring efficiency while completing tasks that support FCL’s Finance business unit.

You have a High School diploma and two post-secondary courses in financial accounting (from an accredited post-secondary institution).
Experience with JDE, Mainframe and working with programmers would be an asset.
You have a minimum of Two (2) years of relevant accounting experience.
