The Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position as:
Accounting Clerk – 2 positions
Competition Code: 2601 106S FIN
Responsibilities- Maintain records for accounting functions and assist with audits.
- Keep up-to-date and accurate data of clients, students, vendors, and customers within the Great Plains Accounting System.
- Ensure quality client service.
- Enter client funding packages and amendments; assist with the processing of student payroll.
- Accurately enter and process vendor and customer invoices in both the accounts payable and accounts receivable areas.
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Accounting/Business Certificate or Diploma.
- Experience with the Great Plains Accounting System (asset).
- Ability to multi‑task, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and computer skills required.
- Sound working knowledge of the Métis community (significant asset).
- Attention to detail.

- Term:
Position 1 – February 2026 – February 2027 (subject to renewal). Position 2 – February 2026 – February 2027 (fixed term). - Location:
