Position Overview:

Paladin Security is looking for motivated and reliable Casual Security Guards to join our Sarnia team. As a key member of our security operations, you will help ensure the safety of premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular security checks of parking areas, entrances, exits, and designated zones.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activities.
• Control access at entry points and verify authorized personnel.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies with appropriate actions.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, reporting suspicious activities.
• Document incidents, accidents, and security breaches in reports.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and report malfunctions.
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Cooperate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.

Requirements:

-At least two years of security experience in an industrial setting would be an asset.

-Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act

-G license required.

-Legally authorized to work in Canada
