Description:ILSC Toronto Testing Centre seeks dependable, customer-focused, and highly professional Exams Invigilators/Proctors to join our team in delivering tests at Lambton College in Sarnia. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-orientated, and capable of working in a fast-paced testing environment. The Exams Invigilator/Proctor will be considered an independent contractor who will be scheduled on an as-needed basis. We are currently looking for candidates who are available on Saturdays.
Job Duties:
Setting up test rooms and equipment at the venue as requiredChecking in and out test taker's personal belongingsChecking in test-takers using IELTS and other high-stakes testing processesAdministering and invigilating testsCleaning up after testsLifting and pushing/pulling bins that weight up to lbsOther duties as requiredEssential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
Awareness of and experience with high-stakes testing, including IELTS and CELPIP is an assetSaturday availability is a MUSTSuperior customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, punctuality, and professionalismAbility to work under examination conditions with respect for confidentiality and secure informationA valid Driver’s License, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel to other test venues is an asset.Effective oral and written communication skillsCustomer service experience is an assetProven accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work as a part of a team or alone as requiredAble to accurately follow predetermined instructionsReliability and punctuality are essentialAvailable to work outside of normal business hours and comfortable spending long periods of time pacing, standing, or sitting.
