Position: Billing Specialist I - CAN St Clair Ave W - R26-01912

Key Responsibilities
  • Billing & Invoice Processing – Generate and process invoices accurately and on time.
  • Review billing data for completeness and accuracy before submission.
  • Ensure proper application of pricing, discounts, and taxes.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting – Assist in reconciling billing discrepancies and identifying errors.
  • Maintain and update billing records in the system.
  • Support the preparation of billing reports and statements.
  • Customer & Internal Support – Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and billing issues.
  • Work closely with internal departments, such as finance and sales, to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Provide documentation and support for audits as needed.
  • Process & Compliance – Ensure compliance with company billing policies and financial regulations.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for billing activities.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High school diploma or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    0-2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related field (entry‑level candidates welcome).
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Basic knowledge of ERP systems, billing software, and MS Excel.
  • Soft Skills:

    Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service orientation.
  • Other:
    Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with high-volume billing processes.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Exposure to automated billing systems and digital invoicing platforms.
