Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities   Greeting guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor
Offering assistance and providing information about the hotel's facilities and services
Assisting guests with the transportation of luggage to and from their rooms
Safely handling and transporting guest belongings with care
Assisting guests with parking and retrieving their vehicles
Escorting guests to their rooms and explaining the features of the room and hotel
Offering assistance with directions and local information
Monitoring and ensuring the security of the lobby and entrance
Collaborating with the front desk and other departments to provide seamless service
Core Competencies   Fluent in English & Italian is a must
2+ years of hospitality experience
Collaborative and communicates well and accomplish tasks at efficiently
Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general
Strong communication and management skills. Communicate with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
Flexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage is common
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality of guests, employees, and information
Handles multiple tasks simultaneously, such as assisting guests, managing luggage, and providing information
Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
Comply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine
