About the RoleWe are seeking a strategic and experienced Global Supply Manager to lead sourcing and supplier management for capital equipment and, over time, expand into aerospace product procurement. This role is pivotal in supporting manufacturing scale‑up, facility expansion, and long‑term supply chain resilience across our global operations.
What You Will Be Doing:Capital Equipment Sourcing (Primary Focus)
- Lead global sourcing initiatives for high‑value capital equipment including test systems and automation tools.
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle: RFQs, contract negotiation, delivery, installation, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with engineering, facilities, and operations to define specifications and ensure alignment with production needs.
- Support sourcing of aerospace‑grade components, materials, and assemblies as needed.
- Develop supplier strategies for long‑lead items, spares program, and high‑reliability parts.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100, ITAR, DFARS) and customer requirements.
- Identify, qualify, and manage global suppliers and OEMs.
- Monitor supplier performance and lead corrective actions when needed.
- Build long‑term partnerships to support innovation, cost reduction, and supply continuity.
- Partner with engineering, quality, finance, operations, and legal teams to support sourcing decisions and contract execution.
- Lead cross‑functional sourcing projects for new site builds, equipment upgrades, and product launches.
- Mitigate supply chain risks through dual sourcing, inventory strategies, and supplier diversification.
- Ensure compliance with export/import regulations and internal procurement policies.
- Use ERP and sourcing platforms to manage procurement workflows, reporting, and analytics.
- Analyze spend data and market trends to inform sourcing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in global supply management, with a strong background in capital equipment sourcing.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing industries.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier development skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Netsuite, SAP, Oracle) and sourcing tools.
- Familiarity with aerospace product specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with international logistics and global supplier networks.
- Ability to manage complex projects across multiple regions and time zones.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
$100,000 - $200,000 a year

This is a full‑time, exempt position, based out of either our Saratoga, CA or Arlington, TX office. The target base pay for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 annually.
