This is a full-time on-site role based in Saratoga, CA for an Industrial Design Lab Faculty Specialist. The role involves conducting and facilitating hands-on industrial design labs, guiding students through concept generation, and applying design thinking methodologies. Primary responsibilities include teaching core courses and mentoring students in product design and prototyping, designing curriculum tailored to industry practices, and ensuring a productive learning environment aligned with academic standards and industry trends.

• Proficiency in Industrial Design and Product Design techniques
• Hands-on experience with Concept Generation and Design Thinking processes
• Advanced skills in Prototyping and model-making tools and materials
• Strong communication and instructional skills for effective student engagement
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated ability to stay current with industry trends and incorporate them into instructional practices
• Experience in an educational environment or mentoring students is a plus
