Transformer Assembler

Our client, a leader in electrical manufacturing, is seeking a Transformer Assembler to join their team. As a Transformer Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly of high-quality transformers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range: $18.79/hour*
* ** Shift:
** 7am - 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday

** What's the Job?*
* + Build transformers and assemblies according to prints, drawings, work instructions, and travelers with supervision.

+ Utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, pliers, clamps, and more to assemble components accurately.

+ Verify the condition of tools and ensure equipment calibration is valid prior to use.

+ Set up and assemble cores, steel lamination, and insulating separators into wound coils using various techniques.

+ Prepare wire connections by forming, sanding, scraping, tinning, insulating, and connecting to terminals or contact points.

** What's Needed?*

Experience with hand tools and reading blueprints or drawings is required.

+

Experience with solder irons, torches, and epoxies is preferred.

+ Ability to verify the usable condition of tools and ensure calibration validity.

+ Proficiency in using calibrated measuring devices to confirm assembly meets specifications.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
