New Hospitalist Opportunity in Saratoga Springs, NY

Compensation: $250K - $300K

Consider this opportunity to practice as a Hospitalist with Saratoga Hospital Medical Group - Hospital Medicine. Our group is known as Saratoga Inpatient Physicians (SIP).

Candidates should have a strong background in inpatient care. There are no critical care obligations with this position.

• Position: Hospitalist
• Schedule: 14 shifts (12 hour shifts) per month inclusive of two on call shifts per month (13 hour days).
• On Scheduled Days: when not on call, physicians round and can leave the building, but must be available by phone.
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Team Structure: Work with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Unit Type: Closed ICU (no procedural duties such as intubation, central line placement, etc.)
• Nocturnist Opportunity Available:

Key Responsibilities:

• Admit patients from the ER and out-of-hospital transfers.
• Respond to inpatient codes and Rapid Response Team (RRT) calls.
• Supervise APPs during admissions and code responses.
• Lead Nocturnist APPs and support their clinical development.

About Saratoga Inpatient Physicians:

Our group is comprised of 23 physicians, including three part time physicians, and four who split duties with other administrative roles in the hospital. We have the support of 10 Advanced Practice Providers, PAs and NPs. Training in either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Approximately 9 physicians are on each day. Six cover weekends.

Night Physicians:

2 Nocturnists also cover ICU (1 on per night in conjunction with 2/3 APPs).

We also seek:

• Nocturnists who do not cover ICU: $300K - $340K
• Critical Care Sunday Night Shifts Available in ICU: (Rate: $2700 - $3000 per shift, dependent on training and experience)
