Job Summary

Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice.

* RN position with the Radiation Oncology team at the newly opening Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion located on Sarasota Memoria Hospital campus in Sarasota, Florida.

This position is scheduled to start in February, 2026.

Required Qualifications

* Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

* Require Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) Certification within three (3) years of hire/transfer date.

* Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).

Preferred Qualifications

* Prefer one (1) year of experience in Radiation Oncology.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Required License and Certs

BLS:
Basic Life Support/CPR

FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License

Preferred License and Certs

ACLS:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support

8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday (8am-4:30pm)

* No weekends or holidays.
