Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 2–10 years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining production software systems

• Proficiency with Linux/Unix (Rocky, RHEL, or similar)

• Skilled in Python (preferred) or other modern languages (C/C++ or Java)

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)

• Understanding of Dev Sec Ops  principles and best practices

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, etc.)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Gov Cloud, Azure, or GCP)

• Knowledge of Git version control

• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

• CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

• Active TS clearance required; TS/SCI preferred Bonus Skills

• Multi-language programming expertise

• Python data science libraries (Num Py, pandas, Sci Py)

• RESTful microservices development (FastAPI, Spring Boot)

• Legacy system modernization into microservice/containerized architectures

• ETL pipeline development and optimization

• Rabbit

MQ or similar message broker experience

• Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation)

• Monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

• Security best practices and compliance knowledge

• Relevant certifications (AWS Dev Ops Engineer, CKA, CKAD)

• Enhance and modernize cloud architectures supporting key operations

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications in containerized environments

• Build and manage systems using Docker and Kubernetes

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery

• Develop ETL pipelines for efficient data processing

• Configure and maintain message queuing systems (Rabbit

MQ, etc.)

• Automate infrastructure management with Python scripting

• Monitor performance and improve reliability and efficiency

• Collaborate with developers to define deployment best practices

• Promote clarity and maintainability through clean design and documentation
