Basic Responsibilities:

* Plan and execute the construction project from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed within the scheduled time frame and budget.

* Create and manage the project budget, including tracking expenses, reviewing contracts, and managing change orders.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe working environment for the crew.

* Manage and supervise the project team, including contractors, engineers, architects, and other professionals, to ensure that they work effectively and efficiently.

* Ensure that project plans and specifications are followed, and oversee quality control and assurance programs to ensure that the project is completed to the required standards.

* Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines, ensuring that all activities are completed on time and within budget.

* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including the project owner, contractors, and other relevant parties.

* Identify and mitigate risks associated with the project, and develop contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances.

* Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other relevant documents.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.

* 3-5+ years of experience in marine and heavy civil construction project management.

* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with the project.

* Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and knowledge of relevant computer applications and technology.

* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and EPA regulations.

* Ability to travel to project sites as required.

* Certification in project management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), is a plus.

* PM software such as HCSS Heavyjob and P6.
