• Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens.
• Clean multiple rooms daily, including changing linens, making beds, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, polishing furniture and fixtures.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
• Cleans corridors and stairways.
• Sweep and scrub bathroom floors.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dust furniture, wash walls and woodwork; wash windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and ashtrays; transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and replace light bulbs.
• Scrub bathroom vanity, toilet, mirrors, walls and bathroom fan.
• Complete a quality check on the television, telephone, AC and smoke detectors.
• Remove any items left behind from a room and take to Lost & Found following proper procedure.
• Report any maintenance-related problems to the maintenance department through proper communication channels.
• Use supplies and equipment carefully as part of job responsibilities.
• Wear proper uniform at all times.
• Score 90% or higher on room inspections.
• Provide a pleasant greeting and use the guest’s name when entering an occupied room.
• Thorough knowledge of all in-house products and local area information to assist customers when needed.
• Demonstrate proper organizational skills when stocking cart and ensure timeliness of cart stocking after completing rooms.
• Display team effort in keeping commercial areas clean and neat.
• Respond to customer needs for housekeeping supplies within 10 minutes.
• Check all vacant rooms daily to ensure correct status.
• Maintain a clean, neat and organized supply room.
• Assist co‑workers when needed.

• Basic English reading, writing and speaking, to communicate with Team Members and Guests.
• Apply common sense to carry out simple instructions with occasional or no variables.
• Work flexible shifts.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Work effectively as part of a team.

• Stand regularly and use hands to handle items, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Walk, climb or balance frequently; talk or hear.
• Lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Use close vision, distance vision and color vision.
• Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.

• Professional and energetic.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Housekeeping experience or training of 4‑6 months preferred (not required).
