RN Charge Nurse - AM Shift

Generations Healthcare – Facility:
Stanford Court, Santee, CA

Shift: AM Shift

Wage Range: $50‑$55 per hour, depending on experience.

Essential Duties
  • Cooperate with other resident services to coordinate nursing services and maintain the resident’s total regimen of care.
  • Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested.
  • Periodically review the resident’s written discharge plan.
  • Participate in updating the resident’s written discharge plan as required.
  • Assist in planning the nursing services portion of the resident’s discharge plan as necessary.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
  • Complete injury/incident reports as necessary.
  • Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary.
  • Agree not to disclose resident’s protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations.
  • Complete and file required record‑keeping forms and charts upon the resident’s admission, transfer, and/or discharge.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited institution or be a graduate of an approved nursing program.
  • Prior experience as a Charge Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.
  • Must hold a current, unencumbered, active RN license in the state.
  • Must have knowledge and skills necessary to provide age‑appropriate care to residents.
  • Must be a supportive team member and contribute to teamwork.
  • Must have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public.
  • Must possess knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures and relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures necessary for providing quality care.
