Valley Box Company is a family-owned manufacturing business specializing in custom wood crating for aerospace, defense, and commercial industries. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our team.

The Purchasing Coordinator manages purchasing operations, vendor communication, inventory levels, and ERP data. This role works closely with production, warehouse, accounting, and management to ensure materials and supplies are available on time and at the best possible cost.

You will manage purchasing, inventory coordination, vendor communication, and ERP data for our manufacturing team:

• Purchase materials, supplies, and services for the company
• Request vendor quotes and compare pricing, quality, and lead times
• Maintain and update part numbers, pricing, and orders in our ERP system (Infor Visual)
• Track inventory levels and help coordinate receiving and returns
• Resolve vendor issues, billing discrepancies, and order errors
• Match packing slips to invoices and support AP documentation
• Assist with month-end inventory and general purchasing projects

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or inventory
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and data entry
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• ERP experience preferred
• Ability to evaluate vendor quotes and negotiate pricing
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
