Infant Toddler Teacher Wanted!

Responsibilities- Educational Adventures:
Create a captivating classroom environment where toddlers can learn and play while adhering to early childhood education best practices. - Creative Curriculum:
Plan and execute daily activities that support toddlers’ physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development using our curriculum. - Inclusivity Champion:
Tailor activities to meet the unique needs of children with special requirements. - Caring Atmosphere:
Foster a warm and respectful atmosphere where toddlers can thrive. - Family Connection:
Build relationships through home visits and parent-teacher conferences. - Compliance Champion:
Adhere to all supervision, safety, and health policies and procedures. - Watchful Guardian:
Actively supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety and well-being, working closely with teachers. - Nurturer of Growth:
Support children to develop appropriate behaviors individually and in groups. - Development Dynamo:
Promote children's physical, social/emotional, cognitive, and language development through culturally and developmentally appropriate curriculum. - Positivity Ambassador:
Create a classroom environment defined by positive, warm, caring, and respectful interactions. - Child Advocate:
Demonstrate awareness of and responsiveness to children's emotional, physical, and educational needs. - Learning Enabler:
Collaborate with teachers to engage children in activities and maintain a learning environment. - Bilingual Promoter:
Encourage practices that support dual-language learners. - Nature's Educator:
Encourage learning through interaction with nature. - Supporting Inclusivity:
Assist in implementing suitable learning activities for children with IFSPs and IEPs. - Linguistic Role Model:
Use proper grammar, appropriate voice level, and clear speech. - Nutrition & Safety Enforcer:
Strictly adhere to CACFP rules, ensuring sanitation and meal service guidelines. - Caregiving Support:
Safely assist with physical care tasks: lifting, diaper changing, feeding infants, etc.

Requirements & Qualifications• Possession of the Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is required, along with extensive experience and training with toddlers. Exceptions may be made for candidates who demonstrate potential and pledge to obtain the Infant/Toddler CDA within six months.
Skills• Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s permit required within one month of hire.
• Ability to work with children with special needs and limited or no English. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
