We are seeking a career-minded Alarm Technician to join a well-established security systems provider serving Northern California and Southern Oregon. This mid-level role is ideal for technicians looking to grow their career in electronic security and life-safety systems, with structured training and advancement opportunities.
Service AreaThis position supports customers throughout Sonoma, Mendocino, Napa, Lake, and Marin counties.

- Install, maintain, and repair intrusion alarms, fire alarm systems, CCTV, and access control systems
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs using hand tools and low-voltage equipment
- Read and interpret plans, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client questions and resolving issues professionally
- Maintain accurate service and installation records using a mobile application
- Follow safety standards, codes, and company procedures at all times
- Customer-friendly demeanor with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Professional appearance, communication, and conduct
- Ability to pass a fingerprint DOJ background check
- Valid California Driver’s License or ability to obtain one (company vehicle required)
- Strong dependability, punctuality, and respect for schedules
- Experience with Honeywell/Resideo, DMP, Bosch, Notifier, FCI Gamewell, or similar systems
- Experience installing, servicing, and testing fire alarm, intrusion alarm, access control, and CCTV systems
- Basic networking knowledge related to IP-based security systems
- At least one year of customer service experience
- WBFAA-enrolled Apprentice status
- Current ACE Card
- Relevant construction or low-voltage trade experience
