The Multi‑Purpose Clerk may be assigned to one of several departments within the store, including Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial. The Clerk is responsible for promoting sales, answering customer questions, responding to product requests, and accurately handling special orders.

• Operate the check stand and perform Point‑of‑Sale (POS) activities.
• Receive, inspect, and log products; stock, rotate, and merchandise to maintain freshness.
• Provide customer service at the selected department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist with special orders and use department equipment as required.

• Sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, and refrigerated areas.
• Operate forklift, baler, or other equipment if authorized and certified.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hiring pay range: $18.21 - $26.50.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self‑motivation.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.

• High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or equivalent job experience.
• Six months of related experience.

• Available to work a variety of required retail hours.
• Must stay standing and perform other physical movements frequently; lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
