We are seeking an exceptional Specialty Medical Director to lead a team of doctors at a busy, 24/7 hybrid hospital specializing in emergency, specialty, and general practice in Santa Rosa, California. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on a team and in the veterinary profession. The state-of-the-art facility houses dedicated doctors and technicians, along with specialists in Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery.
The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology, including a 64-slice CT, ultrasounds, endoscopy, laparoscopy, ligature, and more.
The Medical Director (MD), under the guidance of the field management team, is responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards of medical quality and patient care across the practice. This role involves strong leadership, mentorship, and serving as a role model for veterinarians and staff. The MD should demonstrate a strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive attitude. Additionally, the MD is part of the hospital management team, overseeing the hospital’s financial performance and contributing to its strategic direction.
The MD also performs all duties of a staff veterinarian, leading a highly skilled team in a cohesive, collaborative, and engaging environment.
