This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 3x12-Hour Shift (07:00 - 19:30), may need to cover one night shift within the contract as needed.

We are seeking a qualified Surgical Nurse with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedics experience. The ideal candidate will effectively support surgical procedures and contribute to the care of patients in an acute care setting.

• Provide surgical nursing care to patients in various specialties including trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho.
• Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub nurse.
• Manage patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
• Participate in on-call rotations and float as needed between like units.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Trauma Level I experience is required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.
