Schedule:
Work a 4/10 shift (Monday – Thursday, 2:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.). Enjoy a 3-day weekend every single week! - The Pay: This position includes a 15% shift differential added to your base hourly rate.
- The Impact: You are the final touch on our machines, ensuring every surface is safe, sanitary, and professional before it ships.
In this role, you will assist our fabrication and final assembly teams by preparing, grinding, and bead-blasting machine bodies and components. This is a critical role for maintaining our high standards of sanitary design and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Finishing: Operate grinding and bead-blasting equipment to achieve specific surface textures and meet quality standards.
- Quality Prep: Clean and inspect surfaces for imperfections, sharp edges, or burs.
- Fabrication Support: Assist fabricators with weld clean-up and material preparation.
- Inspection: Verify that finished products comply with technical drawings and specifications.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment is in top working condition.
- Experience: Previous experience in industrial grinding, bead blasting, or a related metal finishing field is preferred.
- Technical Skill: Proficiency with industrial tools and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for surface imperfections and a commitment to precision.
- Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to safety protocols and the use of PPE in an industrial setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift 40 lbs. and work on your feet in a shop environment. Forklift experience is a plus!
- Pay Range: $24.83 – $28.39 per hour (DOE) +
15% Shift Differential. - 100% Paid Premiums:
