We are a leading manufacturing company specializing in equipment manufacturing and technology. Blentech Corporation is a manufacturer of custom food processing systems based in Santa Rosa, CA. For over 35 years, we have creatively blended function, durability, sanitary design, safety, and performance into the design and construction of Blentech systems. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality components with tight tolerances for various industries.
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our production team on the night shift.
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC Amada Laser to produce high-precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as necessary to maintain part quality
- Operate the Amada Press Brake and form material
- Setting a computer-controlled press brake to project specifications
- Ensuring proper positioning and alignment of metal inside the press brake
- Monitoring the pressing process
- Measuring and inspecting the finished sheet metal to ensure it matches the specifications
- Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections to ensure product quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
- Work collaboratively with engineers and quality control teams to improve production efficiency
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Laser operator in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications
- A strong understanding of CNC programming (G-code/M-code) is a plus. Experience with multi-axis CNC machines preferred
- Check and inspect finished parts
- Ability to remain upright and perform repetitive movements throughout most of a work shift
- Arithmetic skills to perform measurements and calculate settings
- Ability to move heavy or large pieces of sheet metal from one place to another
- Observation skills to monitor the pressing process and inspect the metal after pressing
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations for the manufacturing industry
- Ability to perform precise measurements and quality inspections
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production setting
- Welding Stainless, TIG, and MIG experience would be a plus
- 40+ hours per week
- 4 10-Hour days - Monday – Thursday 2:30 pm – 1:00 am
- Wage range DOE: $31.89 - $35.85 + 15% shift differential for the night shift
- We offer 100% company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for the employee, and a boot allowance.
- 401(k) with up to 4% company match after 6 months of employment.
- Paid time off and holidays. The starting PTO accrual is 4.66 hours of PTO earned every pay period.
