Starting salary at $28.96/hour ($60,443/year), plus a competitive total compensation package, and an additional $1.15/hour for basic bilingual assignments and $1.50/hour for fluent bilingual assignments.

- Experience operating multi-line phone systems
- Advanced Microsoft Suite skills, with the ability to edit and remediate documents in Adobe Acrobat or learn those skills
- Be the first point of contact for the public and other agencies
- Maintain office supplies, training logs, and general inventories
- Register applications, enter data, track appointments, and manage specialized caseloads
- Process forms, documents, and referrals
- Respond to inquiries by phone, in person, and through written electronic communication
- Monitor work for progress, technical adequacy, completeness, and adherence to standards
- Create and remediate documents, and review and edit presentations
- Provide training, onboarding, and guidance to junior team members
- Staff the lobby as needed, greeting customers, tracking visitors, and preparing rooms for meetings
- Multiple full-time monolingual (English) and fluent bilingual (English/Spanish) positions in the Human Services Department
- One full-time monolingual (English) position in the Department of Agriculture, Weights, and Measures
- Hybrid Telework – A schedule that may be available depending on the assignment
- Salary Advancement – Increases after 1,040 hours (6 months full-time) with ongoing eligibility thereafter
- Bilingual Premium Pay – $1.15/hour for basic bilingual positions and $1.50/hour for fluent bilingual positions

- Bilingual positions require English and Spanish skills at basic or fluent level. An examination may be conducted to confirm skill level. Bilingual premium pay applies accordingly.

Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Applicants must attain a minimum passing score of at least 70% on the written examination.
A background investigation is required prior to employment. Other conditions may apply depending on duties. A job classification screening schedule may be reviewed for requirements.
