Overview

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) II is responsible for providing assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services according to the resident's care plan, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care at all times.

Pay Range: $26.58 - $27.00

NOC Shift

Essential Functions
  • Maintains charts and documentation for all residents.
  • Greets new residents, orients them to their room, and ensures they are comfortable.
  • Assists residents with basic needs, including, but not limited to, oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing/undressing, hair care, nail care, shaving, and bowel and bladder functions.
  • Maintain resident stability by checking vitals, weight, etc., and documenting them.
  • Follows infection control techniques in performing patient/resident care.
  • Observe residents' behaviors, pay attention to all details, and report changes to nurses.
  • Engage with residents by assisting them with participating in activities, talking with them, and treating everyone with a person-centered approach.
  • Prioritizes patient/resident activities based on current care needs.
  • Complete clinical rounds and respond to resident call lights promptly.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Credentials

Essential:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant

Essential:
Education with Equivalent

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

Essential:

Experience with Equivalent

Qualifications:

  • 6 Months prior work experience in an organization

Nonessential:

  • 1 Year working as a Certified Nurse Assistant
