Associate Patient Services Specialist - Patient Access at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts
Performs all registration functions for patients. This includes collecting accurate demographic information, verifying insurance benefits and eligibility, obtaining authorization/precertification for services provided, and collecting patient liability prior to or at the time of service. Greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.

Required Qualifications:- 1 year of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting.
- Coursework/Training:
Some college or certificate courses. - Experience in hospital registration or healthcare setting.
- Experience utilizing medical terminology in job setting.
- Experience with Meditech/A4 system.
