Job Overview

Sterile Processing Technician - Sterile Processing at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilizing of re‑usable instruments and trays use hospital‑wide. Pulls instruments and supplies for OR case carts. Demonstrates a clear understanding of decontamination procedures and risk of cross contamination, aseptic technique, sterilization methods and sterility assurance. Is aware of the importance of strict attention to detail in all areas including but not limited to the functionality of all instrumentation.

• Within 1 year of hire:
  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
  • National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• 1 year SPD or surgical scrub tech experience.
• Experience in related field.
