Position OverviewPerforms bone density imaging procedures following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic results that support the assessment, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal conditions. Applies clinical knowledge, technical proficiency, and patient-centered care to ensure safe, accurate, and timely imaging. Builds trust and cooperation with patients, families, and healthcare teams through thorough assessments, attentive monitoring, and clear communication. Ensures compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and organizational policies to maintain patient privacy and safety while delivering exceptional care.

Education- HS Diploma or GED
- Graduation from a California State accredited educational program in Limited Permit Bone Densitometry
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- RHB-Radiology Bone Densitometry Limited Permit
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed)
1 year recent relevant experience.
Skills and Knowledge- General knowledge of diagnostic bone density radio‑graphic principles, procedures, and views, as well as the operation and maintenance of radiology equipment.
- Capable of performing routine bone density radio‑graphic examinations and a basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Possess solid written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non‑medical people.
- Good time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related information systems (RIS, LIS, EHR, EPIC, PACS).
- Work under close supervision or within clearly defined procedures to complete assignments within established time‑frames.
- Use existing procedures to identify and solve routine or standard problems.
- Ensure the privacy of each patient’s protected health information (PHI).
- Build collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.

Pay Range is $41.75 to $52.19 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
