Position Information

The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office seeks an experienced fiscal analyst to join their team!

Starting salary up to $56.10/hour ($117,087/year) and a competitive total compensation package!

Joining the Sheriff's Office Team as a Fiscal Analyst

The Fiscal Analyst develops, monitors, and manages the budgets for multiple assigned operational units and approves ongoing expenditures. They coordinate work projects with operational supervisors, managers, and coworkers, and provide administrative project management, which can include preparing fiscal estimates, managing project timelines and deliverables, and coordinating related tasks. Additionally, the Fiscal Analyst administers grants and contracts for services and goods, develops requests for proposals (RFPs), and supports units by addressing operational problems, identifying solutions, and implementing solutions.

Skills
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Exceptional time management skills to address multiple priorities and competing projects
  • Experience developing strong, collaborative working relationships with all levels of staff
  • The ability to shift gears quickly while addressing changing priorities

Minimum Qualifications
