Overview
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office seeks an experienced Fiscal Analyst to manage and monitor budgets for multiple operational units, approve expenditures, coordinate projects, and administer grants and contracts.
Responsibilities- Develop, monitor, and manage unit budgets and fiscal estimates.
- Approve ongoing expenditures and coordinate work projects with supervisors and coworkers.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and related tasks.
- Administer grants, contracts, and services; develop RFPs and support units.
- Identify operational problems, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
- Experience managing budgets and fiscal analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Exceptional time‑management skills to address multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with all staff levels.
- Adaptive to changing priorities and shifting gears quickly.
