Overview

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office seeks an experienced Fiscal Analyst to manage and monitor budgets for multiple operational units, approve expenditures, coordinate projects, and administer grants and contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, monitor, and manage unit budgets and fiscal estimates.
  • Approve ongoing expenditures and coordinate work projects with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and related tasks.
  • Administer grants, contracts, and services; develop RFPs and support units.
  • Identify operational problems, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing budgets and fiscal analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional time‑management skills to address multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with all staff levels.
  • Adaptive to changing priorities and shifting gears quickly.
