R&D Hardware Engineering Internship

The intern candidate will be part of the VNA R&D HW design team. The responsibilities will cover participating and taking the lead in RF/uW designs of sub‑systems and circuits for the latest PNA‑X Pro family. There will be exciting opportunities to contribute in various areas of electrical engineering.

Required

• Enrolled in a master’s or Ph.D. degree program in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Solid understanding of Analog design fundamentals
• Knowledge of RF systems and measurements
• Knowledge of digital electronics
• Ability to learn the technologies in modern communication systems and in our test equipment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent teamwork
• Ability to work across organizations and with other teams

Additional desired skills

• Extensive background in mathematics and algorithms
• Experience in at least one programming language such as C++, C#, or Python
• Experienced in the use of oscilloscopes
• Experience in design and troubleshooting for digital and analog circuits

California Pay Range: USD $37.83-$40.74. Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
