ResponsibilitiesLead cross‑organizational process improvement activities and thrusts to accelerate HFTC operations toward world‑class performance and enable the future state needed by Keysight's business. Partner with the operations and engineering teams to leverage best‑in‑class systems and approaches (industrial engineering, program management, TPS & lean principles, etc.) to maximize operational performance across the pillars of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Scope includes acceleration of the newly centralized industrial engineering function;
creation and deployment of a program management office to lead rigorous project management methodology to ensure projects meet business objectives; and partnership with the supply chain and planning teams to build more robust linkage between planning and operations. This role will also actively drive the overall HFTC operations vision and roadmap leveraging external benchmarking activities to exploit leading edge technology and ways of working.
- Drive key operational initiatives utilizing rigorous program and project management, including but not limited to ramp / ramp readiness, infrastructure resiliency, and capacity expansion
- Oversee the industrial engineering function within HFTC operations to leverage and expand deployment of industry standard techniques
- Oversee the HFTC quality operations to leverage quality processes across functions and ensure growth of quality culture and integrity of the BMS (Business Management System)
- Develop and refine the capital investment roadmap for infrastructure / equipment resilience and capacity expansion through collaboration with the operations and engineering teams
- Enable predictable delivery by partnering with the supply chain and planning teams to enhance linkage through business process improvement
- Lead the strategic plan of record for HFTC operations (SPR) including definition of vision and roadmap, and translate into actionable near‑term steps
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Chemical, Materials or related field) preferred, or equivalent degree with applicable experience
- Minimum 7 years of semiconductor/electronics high tech manufacturing experience
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with direct people management
- Strong track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement utilizing industrial engineering techniques/principles
- Ability to drive organizational transformation and structural changes
- Understanding of technology roadmaps and strategic planning
- Experience managing across technical disciplines
Preferred
- Experience with program and project management and/or PMP certification
- Lean / Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience
- Experience with smart manufacturing (Industry 4.0, AI, automation, robotics, etc.), manufacturing execution systems (MES), statistical process control (SPC)
