Overview
The position provides leadership and technical assistance in integrating the Teaching Pyramid Model, supporting implementation of evidence-based early literacy practices, and advancing the Reggio Emilia inspired approaches in preparation for full implementation by 2028. The role also serves as a connection to the Teacher Induction Program, supporting new transitional kindergarten and kindergarten teachers through mentoring and professional learning opportunities. Applicants should have a strong understanding of early childhood education, including both social-emotional and academic supports, and experience teaching early learners.
Familiarity with the Teaching Pyramid Model and experience coaching are highly desirable. Additional responsibilities include community collaboration, outreach to expand access to high-quality early learning experiences, and partnership with Local Education Agencies to provide technical assistance and capacity building.
- Provide leadership and technical assistance in integrating the Teaching Pyramid Model.
- Support implementation of evidence-based early literacy practices.
- Advance Reggio Emilia inspired approaches in preparation for full implementation by 2028.
- Serve as a connection to the Teacher Induction Program, mentoring and providing professional learning opportunities for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten teachers.

- Partner with Local Education Agencies to provide technical assistance and capacity building.
- Must be fingerprinted and a satisfactory Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation records check must be received before employment.
- TB testing will be required upon employment.
- Clearance from all former employers for AB2534 prior to employment.
