The PracticeThe Ventura County Behavioral Health Department (VCBH) is an integrated component of the Ventura County Health Care Agency. VCBH provides mental health and substance use treatment services for individuals and families in crisis, those considering suicide, or those struggling with mental illness and/or substance use. VCBH promotes wellness through a whole‑person care approach, empowering clients and families with accessible, timely, culturally sensitive, and collaborative behavioral health services.
Responsibilities- 40 hours of coverage each week
- Flexible 8 or 10 hour days
- Adult caseload of 300 patients
- Adult intake 60 minutes; follow ups 30 minutes
- On‑site schedule in Santa Paula, CA
- EMR – Smart Care
- Serves county‑based chronic patients
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Accepts and works with H1B and J1 Visa holders
- $340,000 Annually for Adult Full‑Time In‑Person W‑2 Employees
